Everett Sanderson is proud to say that he was born and raised right here in Nederland, Texas. He graduated from Nederland High School in 1976 and graduated from Lamar University in 1981. He then went on to graduate from Baylor Law School in 1985 and he has practiced law right here in Jefferson County since that time.
Everett has always been very active in the community and his profession through various organizations. He has served as President of the Jefferson County Young Lawyers Association, Board of Director for the Jefferson County Bar Association, Chairman of the American Simmental Association’s Simbrah Advisory Committee, President of the Simbrah Sensation, Board of Director for the Beaumont Elderly & Handicapped Housing Association. He has also been a member of the School Board for the Nederland Independent School District for the past 6 years.
Everett is currently in his second term as the Chairman of the Church Council of The First United Methodist Church in Nederland. He has served in various positions in the Church over the past several years. Everett is also an avid Team Roper.
Everett joined the firm in 1986 and has been with the firm since that time. He has been a partner in the firm since 1991. Everett is Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in the area of Personal Injury Trial Law. Everett has been a part of multi-plaintiff litigation as well as class action litigation both in and out of the State of Texas.
