John P. Cowart received a B.B.A. from Lamar University in 1986 where he graduated with highest honors. He was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1989 after graduating from the University of Texas Law School. After graduation, John worked for Wells, Peyton Greenberg & Hunt and later at Swearingen, Clark & Moore before becoming a sole proprietor. John then formed Cowart & Neichoy, L.L.P., where he practiced until joining Moore Landrey L.L.P. in 1999.
